Dedicated to education and conservation, the Greater Vancouver Zoo is home to many rescued, donated, and orphaned animals. The mission of the Greater Vancouver Zoo is to inspire appreciation of our ecosystems and engage the community to care, share and learn about animal conservation.
Come on July 17, 24, August 7, or 14 to enjoy a unique zookeeper talk experience where a member of the zoo team will introduce you to some of our animals and share their stories. This guided tour is 45 minutes long. The animals visited can change but we would likely meet the rhino, giraffes, and lions.
Please note that while this exclusive Kidsworld tour is free, the entrance to the Zoo before or after the tour is not included. However we also have a bonus discount! From July 17 onwards to the end of the year you can show your Kidsworld pass at the front gate and with each adult ticket purchase, a child gets a free entrance.

Do you love bees? How about flowers and blueberries, and watermelon, and
oranges and apples…
Join us at Honeybee Centre as we learn all about bees, beekeeping, pollination and civic
duty.
We will have a number of activities through the day including:
- Classroom open to explore from 10:30-1:30pm
- Basic Bees Presentation at 10:45am
- Beekeeping Demonstrations (opening our Hive) at 11:15am & 1pm
- Hotdogs by donation for our Community Bee Garden Initiative
- Activity Stations (Science, Games, try on a beekeeper suit) from 10:30-1:30pm
- Bee Friendly Seed Planting ~ plant some bee friendly seed that you can take
home to feed the bees!
