Reservation events are important because:
1 - Some events need you to sign up for a specific class due to needing a certain timeslot, age group, or your choice of a specific portion of an event.
2 - Some events have limited spaces available. These spots are reserved on a first come first serve basis.
IMPORTANT NOTES
-
Reservation Events open for registration two weeks before the event at 9am, unless otherwise stated in the event description.
-
Not all events require reservations. They are shaded in blue and have a sun logo on our calendar. They are also mentioned with *Reservation Events* on the full event listing.
-
There are two types of reservation events. It is very important that when you register you look at the note on the registration form that says which type of event it is. You will then reserve spots accordingly:
-
KIDS ONLY - For example a martial arts or dance class where only the child participates. Adults most often can watch.
-
SIGN UP ADULTS AND KIDS - For example a zookeeper tour at the Greater Vancouver Zoo where children and adults attend the events. Please note that for these events only one adult can register per child with a pass as there is limited space and we want to make sure as many kids can attend as possible.
-
-
If you sign up for the wrong amount of spots, extra spots cannot be guaranteed
-
***If you can no longer attend, please press 'Cancel' at the bottom of the automatic email you received when registering. If you cannot find that email, please message makayla@kidsworldprogram.com or charity@kidsworldprogram.com***
-
Whenever possible, please cancel 24+ hours before the event so that someone else can register or be moved in from the waiting list.
-
People who repeatedly do not show up to the events they registered for, or repeatedly cancel within the final 24 hours can have their ability to attend reservation events revoked
