URBAN SAFARI RESCUE
11am – 4pm
Thursdays to Mondays in July and August (excluding holidays).
Show your Kidsworld pass at the front desk for complimentary entrance for child and accompanying adult ($16 value). One time entrance per pass.
Come explore the world of animals at Urban Safari Rescue Society. Urban Safari is a registered charity with the mission to rescue and provide sanctuary for unwanted exotic animals and education to the public about animals and the natural world. You can explore animals from around the world, animals that come from South America, Africa, Asia, Central America, Australia. Learn about insects, spiders, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. There are approximately 380 animals to see and learn about in this unique facility. Urban Safari also has a very impressive collection of mounted butterflies and other insects. Be curious - there is so much to learn.
POWERHOUSE AT STAVE FALLS
10am – 3pm
Complimentary admission for one child and one adult with each Kidsworld pass shown.
Take a walk through time at a National Historic Site of Canada and enjoy interactive displays, historic artifacts and electricity demonstrations to learn how in B.C, we’re powered by water.
Kung Fu & culture
August 9, 16
One time per Kidsworld pass over the 4 days
10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm
Ages 6 and up
Join us for an introduction to Shaolin Kung Fu taught by Master Shi Yandi, a 34th generation kung fu monk. You will also have the chance to learn Chinese calligraphy which you can take home with you. This event is hosted by the Shaolin Temple of Canada. Adults/parents will help the children with the calligraphy.

BEATY BIODIVERSITY MUSEUM
Any Tuesday to Friday in July or August
10am – 4pm

See the largest creature to have ever lived on earth, a Blue Whale skeleton hanging in the natural history Museum Atrium. Enjoy the many daily programs and hands-on discovery lab.

The free Kidsworld entrance can only be received once per pass for child and adult.

The Vancouver Maritime Museum is a great place for families to learn about the sea
and the ships that sail it. The feature exhibition this summer is Canoe Cultures :: Ho’-ku-
melh, War Canoes and the Gifts They Carry Forward, which features 20 Indigenous
artists. And the newly renovated children’s gallery offers imaginative play for children of

Learn about killer whales, salmon, eulachon and sturgeon, and how they form an intricate web of food and energy, benefiting the environment around them. Discuss what might happen were any of them to disappear, and what we can do to help this not happen!
Sea Smart is a Vancouver-based charity that delivers online programs, school workshops, after school programs, summer camps and shoreline clean-ups. Our fun hands-on programs get people excited about our oceans and empower them to make the world a better place.

Learn the science of crime and the history of policing at the Vancouver Police Museum & Archives, home of Vancouver’s former CSI lab! Walk through the museum's authentic historic spaces and learn about some of Vancouver's most exciting criminal cases and unsolved murder mysteries, or find out about the fascinating history of forensic science and policing in Vancouver. Our exhibits are educational, captivating, and include authentic photos, archival material and artefacts straight from the source.

Come visit Richmond Fire Hall #1 for the Kidsworld Day where there will be several activities to do. You can tour a fire truck, handle a live fire hose, take a picture in gear, crush a can with the Jaws of Life, see a Thermal Imaging Camera and learn lots at the education booth!
