Come try fishing at the Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery! Learn about proper fish handling, casting, bait, tackle, and more! We will be loaning out rods for you to try catch and release fishing at our rainbow trout stocked ponds. Youth must be accompanied by an adult, fishing is rain or shine.

Dedicated to education and conservation, the Greater Vancouver Zoo is home to many rescued, donated and orphaned animals. The mission of the Greater Vancouver Zoo is to inspire appreciation of our ecosystems and engage the community to care, share and learn about animal conservation.
Come enjoy a unique zookeeper talk experience where a member of the zoo team will introduce you to some of our animals and share their stories. This guided tour is 45 minutes long. The animals visited can change but we would likely meet the rhino, giraffes, lions, tiger and jaguars.
Please note that while this exclusive Kidsworld tour is free, the entrance to the Zoo before or after the tour is not included. However we also have a bonus discount! From July 12 onwards to the end of the year you can show your Kidsworld pass at the front gate and with each adult ticket purchase, a child gets a free entrance.

EcoDairy is the first demonstration farm of its kind in Canada. Offering a unique, highly interactive learning environment, the EcoDairy experience has been developed in partnership with Science World.
We look forward to sharing our Discovery Centre, Moozanine, Avalon Theatre, Observation Area, Dairy Barn, Animal Exhibit, with Kidsworld families!

Learn the science of crime and the history of policing at the Vancouver Police Museum & Archives, home of Vancouver’s former CSI lab! Walk through the museum's authentic historic spaces and learn about some of Vancouver's most exciting criminal cases and unsolved murder mysteries, or find out about the fascinating history of forensic science and policing in Vancouver. Our exhibits are educational, captivating, and include authentic photos, archival material and artefacts straight from the source.

Kidsworld families can join the BC Lions in the Family Zone for their game July 22th against the Saskatchewan Roughriders for only $35 for a child and adult. Any extra adults are $25 and extra kids are $10. Regular End Zone ticket price is $37.

ArtStarts in Schools provides innovative arts programs for young people, practical resources for teachers and artists, and leadership in advocacy for arts in education.
