"A Shakespeariance"
30 minute 'Bard Village' with various activities. Followed by a 45 minute youth introduction to several Shakespearian pieces and 15 minutes Q&A with performers sharing about their love of Shakespeare.
The Riotous Youth of Bard on the Beach introduce Shakespeare and his plays in this dynamic, engaging presentation suitable for all ages. In one hour, audiences will learn about Shakespeare’s role in our society today and discover how plays written so long ago can be so relevant today.

Join Sportball coaches as we play different ball sports and focus on basic skills for all sports, like balance, coordination, stamina and timing in a fun, supportive, non-competitive setting that emphasizes teamwork.
All of our classes are Coached with Purpose using Sportball Methodology. All games, activities and instructions have a purpose and expected outcome. Our goal is to build your child’s confidence, competence and Physical Literacy. Our programs target three key areas of childhood development, helping them build skills for life!

elevate ultimate

Elevate Ultimate was started in 2016 by two Team Canada players and coaches, Ari and Danie. Since then, they have brought Ultimate Frisbee to over 10,000 kids through their In-School and After-School programs. Elevate Ultimate focuses on teaching values such as sportspersonship, personal accountability, and open-mindedness, through the Sport and Spirit of Ultimate Frisbee.
At the Kidsworld Demo, kids will be introduced to the basic Ultimate throws (Backhand and Forehand) all while staying engaged with Elevate's ULTIMATE twist on classic games such as Capture the Flag. Parents are invited to play for the last 20 minutes to see if they can beat the Kids and Coaches!

Police Judo is a not for profit organization (Law Enforcement Training Association - LETA). It is a judo-based physical training system that teaches ethical use of force using appropriate, effective, and practical techniques.
Police Judo was originally started at the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) by Ret. Insp. Tim Laidler over twenty years ago. It was developed into a unique form of recreational judo based on low-risk, high-yield judo throws. This unique, non-competitive judo program applies the standing and ground elements of traditional (but non-sport) judo.

The Canada Cup International Softball Championship is an annual event that features many of the top female softball athletes from around the world as well as youth female teams (U19 & U16) with athletes aspiring to, one day, play for their country. The Canada Cup is a family-oriented sporting event showcasing the sport of fastpitch and we guarantee you will be amazed by these talented athletes.
The 2023 tournament will be held from July 3 - 12, 2020 and will promote the development of the sport of fastpitch by helping young female athletes reach for their personal best.

In this one hour class, kids will learn the difference between 2D & 3D images. They will first draw a 2D picture, then create a 3D image of the same picture.
